Today was my last day in Berlin. It was a very hurried, hard working, productive day. I leave here with a book of works that we have completed to take with me and another piece headed to Izmir Turkey to be placed in an exhibit. It has been a wonderful two weeks.
I have seen beautiful things
I have seen triumphant things
I have seen things that were so heartbreaking that they brought me to tears
A memorial wall of photos of those that lost their lives at the Berlin wall
I have seen things that have made an impression in my soul
A wall of identities of those that were lost under the regime of Hitler
I have seen things that are ancient but they exist and tell us the story of their lives
And in it all I was blessed to share two weeks of my life with two wonderful people who have cared for me, fed me and housed me. Two people who have taken me in and shared their knowledge, their hearts and their love.

(our hero, he kept up our strength!)
And now my bag is packed. I did manage to contain myself to the 1/2 of a 24 inch suitcase that I brought empty to fill with my goodies. And I get to take my clothes home too in the other 1/2! It is just hours until the cab will be here at 3:45 am.
Here is a peek at some of the goodies that I am bringing home

It is now time for me to pack the Ipad and get a short rest before I begin my journey home. I leave here with a heart that is full. I look forward to taking with me all the knowledge that I have had shared with me and create new art. Art that has been inspired during this special time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Inez and Sabastion.
