Or when you can’t find a place to stay.

As it turns out this is a holiday weekend and we are in a historic area of the US and in the midst of the leaf changes. This weekend is supposedly “the peak” of the leaf color season.

We have been fortunate that when we arrived we were able to add an extra night and stay again in this wonderful spot. But now they don’t have this available to us so we have to relocate to another area of the RV park. Down the hill, next to the highway.
Up close and personal with our neighbors.

We are the last spot, on a steep incline.

Our view is no longer the occasional Amish buggy going by but instead an almost steady stream of semi trucks. This photo was taken from the stairs on Gladys.

This spot is just for one night because we can’t stay another night. They are full for the entire weekend. We have to find another place to land and so far we have checked everywhere within reasonable driving distance and come up with nothing.
I said it was “a blast” being in Gladys but there are challenges.
