Our “chariot” awaits us.
It is an Opel van. Much bigger than what we had reserved but all the “extra” space is being used.
The 3rd row in the seats is being used as our “kitchen”.
It is where we keep all the food and water to keep the captain (Sebastian) and crew ( Tom, Inez and I) hydrated and energized.
And, of course we need a mascot. our TINS.
He rides in the front alongside the maps. But it is not TINS that gives us directions but “Alice”.
She is the voice on the navigation system. And when she fails us we resort to Tom and the good old fashion paper maps.
