We have a final destination that we need to arrive on time this week, but the stop we have been looking forward to, for months is Indy. Tyler and Addison live there and we have motored our way here to celebrate her birthday. Tyler has the day off and her parents, who currently live in St Louis, MO, were able to join us for the weekend.
We are thinking of things to do in Indy that would be new. Most of us haven’t been to the Indy Speedway museum. It was sunny and hot and we figured the museum would be new, to most of us, AND…air conditioned.
When we arrived there was a sign over the garage opening that the museum is closed until Spring 2025!!!! OH NO!! They directed us to drive and park in front of the closed museum. They were holding the Ferrari Challenge. There were individually owned cars on the track and their owners got an opportunity to show off and drive as fast as they wanted.
We wondered around and I took these photos.

We went to a Brazilian restaurant that evening to celebrate Addison.
What a wonderful evening. The end to a wonderful visit.
