When you say “New York “ many people have the image of New York City in their minds, Time Square, Central Park, and Statue of Liberty.
But New York State has many faces. Northern New York State is lush and green trees
We drove along the north side of the state and were entranced by the beautiful scenery. It was not at all what we had expected.
We had reservations for a campground, keeping us in Upstate New York. We got there early enough that we were able to sit in the Adirondack chairs they provided at waterside.
There were fields of flowers, 
and wonderful views.
