We have now owned our RV “Gladys” for 14 months and have traveled 10,000 miles in her. We brought her home on June 2, for much needed warranty and Winnebago recall work. Johnson RV had her for 5 weeks and not all of the warranty work or any of the recall work was done. We did some of the warranty work ourselves. We had a date planned to leave and we were on a schedule.
We had decided we needed to leave by Sept 2nd to meet the deadlines we had ahead of ourselves. On Labor Day morning we pulled out of our driveway.
We did not drive far that day, just to Sisters OR, to Sisters Creekside Campground. It is a wonderful city owned RV park in the middle of town. We were able to visit with my brother, who lives close by.
The following morning my brother was able to take some time off work and give us a guided tour of the area.
